Hi there friend! I'm Katherine, a full time Oklahoma based Wedding and Portrait Photographer. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me!
I'm a born and raised Okie, married to my high school sweetheart/best friend, and a follower of Jesus. My favorite things are... feeling the sunlight on my skin, coffee dates with friends, eating white queso & chips, driving with the windows down, binge watching White Collar, receiving hand written notes, jamming out to country music, and watching the sun go down! I love being outside in nature, traveling, and exploring new places along the way.
I've been carrying around a camera ever since I was a little girl, taking pictures of anything and everything. From begging my little siblings to "model" for me to taking pictures of everything I could find outside, I feel like photography has always been something I've been passionate about. However, I officially transitioned into doing photography professionally in the Spring of 2019. Over the years I have been able to capture so many beautiful once in a lifetime moments and have made so many dear friends along the way.
My goal as a photographer is to make people feel comfortable and confident! And to become your new best friend(:

I have many things I love about my job but the top thing is getting to be behind the camera creating the art and making new friends in the process.

I grew up with 8 siblings, I have 3 older siblings and 5 younger siblings.

I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, shopping, playing volleyball, hanging out with friends, reading, and taking long walks outside.
LATEST OBSESSIONS
Definitely a root beer with vanilla cream from Swig... 10/10 recommend
Kindness has always been important to be, even as a child. I was always the kid to make friends with those who didn't appear to have any because I didn't want them to feel left out. My mom would always tell me "everybody can't be your best friend" but I would always disagree. And even tho it looks a bit different now, I have carried that same desire into adulthood and into my business. I strive to make everyone feel like I'm their friend. I want to make people feel welcomed, seen, loved, comfortable, and confident.
Kindness
I believe being trustworthy is a very important part of running a successful and thriving business. I greatly value the trust I have built between me and my clients. I have worked hard over the years and have done everything in my power to stick to my word and meet my deadlines for each individual client, I take my word very seriously.
Trust
Something I try to be very conscious of when I'm photographing my clients is to be aware of the little details. While I'm directing you into each pose/prompt I'm also watching out for things that others may overlook. I try to watch for the hair tie on your bridesmaid's wrist, the phone in your husband's pocket, or that little baby hair that's flying in the wind. Although I'm not always perfect at catching everything I do strive to watch for and fix as much as I can in the moment.
